Due to the nature of construction work and the involvement of numerous diverse stakeholders in a building project, conflicts involving construction claims can include complicated problems. Even though the parties' top aim is to finish the project on schedule, there is practically never a project that is executed perfectly in line with the intent and goals of what the parties agreed upon. The parties will certainly have disagreements at some point, whether it be over delays in the completion of the work, violations of the terms and conditions of the contract that result in termination, requests for work variations, or claims for loss and expenditure. This book is meant to be a helpful resource for anyone who needs to establish or defend a construction claim resulting from a building project.

Features of Lam On Construction Claims in Malaysia:

  • An easy-to-read manual for managing the various claims that frequently result from construction projects is provided to all industry participants.
  • Current legal trends and developments in the area of construction claims law and practice.
  • There are also helpful hints and details on how to handle particular construction claims problems.

All parties involved in the construction industry, particularly employers, contractors, industry experts, and attorneys who practise construction law, should read this book.
