Construction Law Reports
The Technology and Construction Court (formerly the Official Referees' court), the specialty court of the construction industry, and its appeal decisions, as well as other judgements of relevance to construction law practitioners, have been covered by Construction Law Reports since 1985. The series includes cases involving major liability, important building contract cases, including those involving the interpretation of standard form construction contracts, claims by and against architects, engineers, surveyors, and other professionals in contract and tort, cases of interest arising under the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 and the Arbitration Act 1996, public procurement cases, and claims by and against local governments relating to statutory duties.
Each report is carefully put up with a headnote summarising the essential facts and legal concepts employed, and the series presents the complete text of decisions. A list of the cases cited in the ruling is provided, together with complete citations. Each case's key portions are emphasised, and the practical impact of each decision is summarised.
The series benefits from the knowledge of a team of prominent Editors and Contributors from Keating Chambers, who have offered Editorial Comment on each case since 2007 (volume 115), and are now also in charge of case selection and headnote production.
Each year, six volumes are published (charged individually). This second hand set now contains 148 volumes (almost new) that starts with decisions from 1983 and provide an unparalleled library of cases for in-depth research. There is also an Index volume included.
