A former Court of Appeal judge with 23 years of service and 750 decisions under his belt, Dato' Seri Mohd Hishamudin Yunus. As a magistrate in Kuala Lumpur, Dato' Seri began his career in the Malaysian Judicial and Legal Service in 1973. He later held positions such as President of Sessions Court, Deputy Public Prosecutor, State Legal Advisor for the State of Selangor, Deputy Parliamentary Draftsman, and Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court. The Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) has appointed Dato' Seri as an arbitrator. He received membership into the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) in the UK in 2016. Additionally, the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution named him a Fellow. Dato' Seri is a member of the Malaysian Human Rights Commission and the Chairman of the Competition Commission of Malaysia (MyCC) (SU-HAKAM). He had previously been a commissioner for judicial appointments (JAC).
