The burgeoning growth of the halal industry in Malaysia and globally has prompted the inclusion of halal studies as a subject in higher learning institutions within Malaysia. However, despite the increasing importance of halal laws and regulations, there seems to be a lack of dedicated textbooks catering to students and academicians seeking comprehensive knowledge in this area.

The book "Halal Industry In Malaysia: Understanding The Legal & Administrative Procedures" fills this gap by providing a concise yet thorough reference for students enrolled in local higher learning institutions to grasp the intricacies of Halal Industry Management. It delves into the legal framework governing various sectors of the halal industry in Malaysia, covering areas such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, logistics, halal enforcement, personal, food, and premise hygiene, all within the context of Malaysian Halal Certification.

In addition to elucidating legal requirements, the book also sheds light on the administrative infrastructure, including guidelines, codes of practice, and the significance of fatwas (Islamic verdicts) concerning halal-related matters. This resource will prove invaluable not only to students but also to anyone keen on understanding the legal intricacies of halal industries and halal consumerism in Malaysia.
