Since the previous edition, Chapter 2G of the Corporations Act has been updated to expand the use of technology for calling and conducting general meetings. Additionally, provisions relating to creditors’ meetings have been revised, with many sections replaced by the Insolvency Practice Schedule (Corporations) in Schedule 2 of the Corporations Act, and relevant Corporations Regulations now replaced by the Insolvency Practice Rules (Corporations). Consequently, Chapters 21 and 23 have been substantially rewritten. The edition also reflects significant developments in case law, incorporating over 60 new case references and analyses.
