1. Members of Parliament (Remuneration) Act 1980
This Act establishes the remuneration framework for Members of Parliament (MPs) in Malaysia, detailing their salaries, allowances, and pensions. It ensures that MPs receive appropriate compensation for their legislative roles. Notably, Section 8 specifies that MPs are entitled to pensions and other benefits as outlined in the Act's schedules.
2. Houses of Parliament (Privileges and Powers) Act 1952
Enacted to define the powers and privileges of Malaysia's Parliament, this Act safeguards the legislative process. Key provisions include:

Freedom of Speech: Ensures that debates or proceedings within the House cannot be questioned in any external court or tribunal.

3. Ministerial Functions Act 1969 (Act 2)
