Perspectives on Public Law: Essays on Fundamental Rights delves into this vital area by exploring the changing landscape of human rights, the state’s duty to safeguard these rights, and the wider implications for governance and justice.

The collection presents a variety of viewpoints on the major issues influencing public law today. Covering topics from the philosophical underpinnings of fundamental rights to the practical difficulties encountered in enforcing them, these essays combine academic insight with real-world relevance.

Authored by pupils of the firm during their pupilage, the essays were written with the aim of fostering their interest and sensitivity toward public law. The project was carried out under the guidance of the firm’s Consultant and retired Court of Appeal Judge, Dato’ Seri Mohd Hishamudin Yunus.
