In excess of 100 cases have been handled by Nigel Blackaby KC, a partner and worldwide co-head of the international arbitration group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Washington, DC. He is a judge on the SIAC's bench as well as an adjunct professor of investment arbitration at American University's Washington College of Law.

In addition to serving as counsel and arbitrator in numerous prominent arbitrations, Constantine Partasides KC is a founding partner of Three Crowns LLP and a board member of both the ICCA and the LCIA.

When they were both partners at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Alan Redfern and Martin Hunter co-wrote the first edition of Redfern and Hunter, and he has contributed significantly to each subsequent version. After leaving Freshfields, he joined One Essex Court, one of the most prestigious commercial chambers in the Temple, where he worked as an international arbitration. In more than 150 international arbitrations over the course of his career, he has served as counsel and the solo or presiding arbiter.
