About the Authors:

High Court Judge in Kuala Lumpur since 2020, YA Dato’ Su Tiang Joo previously spent 36 years in civil litigation and arbitration, especially land and infrastructure disputes. A Gray’s Inn Barrister and former Top 100 Lawyer, he co-authored The Law on Land Acquisition (2018) and has issued over 200 judgments. He received the P.S.B.S. award in 2025. Pang Kong Leng is a litigator with nearly 30 years’ experience in complex corporate, civil, and high-value land acquisition cases. A University of Malaya graduate admitted in 1996, he has authored key legal texts including Legal Guide to Civil Appeals Malaysia (2025) and co-authored The Law on Land Acquisition (2018).
